E Green Animal Physiotherapy was set up by our equine physiotherapist Emma Green after twenty five years working within the equine industry.
Emma's experience and achievements are extensive. These include working within British Show jumping and stud yards, dressage yards, working as part of the West Yorkshire Police Mounted Section and an equine nutritionist for a UK leading feed company. Emma lived in Switzerland for three years, training, competing and travelling the International dressage circuit with the Swiss dressage team, under the guidance of Olympic, European, and World Equestrian Games rider Hans Staub and International dressage rider and team member Simonne Staub.
Emma qualified with a BSc degree in Equine Science and Management in 2004 and went on to complete a Post Graduate Diploma in Veterinary Physiotherapy, specialising in equine and canine physiotherapy.
Emma furthered her education by studying equine chiropractory techniques allowing her to offer skeletal manipulation techniques and gaining her qualification in equine kinesiology taping.
Emma offers the highest standard of veterinary physiotherapy and is accredited by the Register of Animal Musculoskeletal Practitioners (RAMP), and the International Association of Animal Therapists (IAAT).
Alongside providing equine physiotherapy and canine physiotherapy services Emma provides educational presentations and demonstrations for equine and canine owners as well as writing articles for a number of published magazines and journals.
Emma works closely with a number of vets, equine competition centres and charities.
Emma owns horses and dogs herself and therefore has a great understanding of how stressful it can be when your animal is not well. With this in mind she offers the very best treatment, ensuring your animal is happy, calm and comfortable during treatments.
