Having worked within the equine industry for over two decades, Emma had a wealth of experience and knowledge in all aspects of the equestrian world.
Emma has successfully established a thriving Veterinary Physiotherapy business, and for ten years has been treating animals, in particular horses, with physiotherapy and electrotherapy, throughout her home county of Yorkshire.
On a daily basis Emma is responsible for assessing the biomechanics and anatomy of horses (along with other species), and applying her skills and knowledge to resolve illness and injury, to improve their health, wellbeing and performance.
Prior to this Emma has worked internationally, based in Switzerland and travelling throughout Europe with elite dressage horses. Emma has experience working with high level horses working in specific disciplines of show jumping and eventing. Emma’s experience also includes starting young horses, backing and all groundwork fundamentals.
Emma not only holds a BSc degree in Equine Science, a Post Graduate diploma in Veterinary Physiotherapy, she has also completed the Expert Witness Civil Certification from Cardiff University.
Providing equine expert witness reports and testimony requires extensive background, terminology and understanding of the equine industry. Emma has knowledge of equine nutrition, equine husbandry, the workings of the equine industry, illness and injury, veterinary physiotherapy, equine performance and competition, equine anatomy, training, and biomechanics.
Emma is a certified Expert witness, appearing in the Bond Solon Register.
Through her huge amount of experience, knowledge and qualifications, Emma is an expert on all aspects of the equine industry.
Emma also provides her services for equine valuations, pre- purchase equine professional assessment (this is not a vetting), and equine consulting.
